Yo 👋

A few months ago, I wrote a pilot article / video about Pieter Levels & Nomad List, I’ve gotten great feedback about it, and the results were promising too!

With that kind of results for a first piece of content, any marketer would’ve dropped everything to focus on YouTube.

But I’m a weirdo, so I ended up not publishing anything for more than 6 months… 🤷‍♂️

There is a reason for this though.

Even with these results, I felt like a fraud, I was talking about how to grow a SaaS, but I hadn’t really built any myself.

I don’t want to become a guru who’s all talk, and was very curious about the building part.

So I got to work, and I focused on building up my coding & product skills, and I did a few things:

I Learned Web Scraping & from this course, and app development from this course.
I built my first app YT Careers & contributed to the open source project it is based on.
I started getting more responsibility at my current job (SchoolMaker), where I now manage a small team, take care of product, and of the company’s marketing.

I think that I now have more things that are worth sharing, and I have all the skills I needed to be able to ship stuff.

So what will I share in this newsletter?

I want to keep it pretty simple for now, I’ll write issues about:
